Our 1880′s three-bedroom home is part of the heritage streetscapes surrounding the friendly Kensington Village and close to Flemington Racecourse and Melbourne Showgrounds. We’re 10 minutes from the Melbourne CBD by train and the 402 bus services Lygon and Brunswick Streets, the Footscray Market and major hospitals. We’re also just off the CityLink Freeway and about 30 minutes from the airport.

As travellers who love being independent we provide accommodation that guests crave when away from home – be it for holidays; visiting family and friends; celebrations, or work. Kensington B&B has an open kitchen with a dining area, a lounge, two bathrooms and a sunny deck. Our home is centrally heated in winter and fan and sea-breeze cooled in summer and the coded front door keeps your stay key-free. Guests enjoy a choice of breakfast cereals, toasted bread and homemade jams or marmalades from our Violet Town farm. Kensington Village also has a great range of eclectic cafés and bars; a hotel, and take-away shops providing a wide range of dining options. You’re also welcome to use our kitchen if you enjoy cooking and the Queen Victoria, Footscray and Showgrounds Farmers Markets are all within easy reach and overflowing with great produce.
